Cactus
Cinematic Pop Meets Dusty Western
On April 3, 2026, Danish artist Loud Tiger (Viktoria Siff) releases her third album, ‘Cactus’. Known for writing hits for stars like Alicia Keys and Macy Gray, Siff now fully embraces her "urban cowgirl" persona.
The album blends grand pop melodies with a gritty, desert aesthetic featuring banjo, lap steel, and mandolin.
The result is a sound Siff describes as a sunset duel between Dolly Parton and Kacey Musgraves, flavored with hints of Fleetwood Mac.
Blooming Through Adversity
The title serves as a metaphor for resilience. Much like a cactus surviving extreme desert conditions, the album explores the theme of ‘getting back up‘ when life is at its harshest. Siff draws from deeply personal experiences, including:
From LA to the Danish Charts
After a decade in London and Los Angeles working with top producers like Tommy Brown and Poobear, Siff has returned to her roots to create a unique musical territory. Her international pedigree—including a JUNO Award (rock album of the year) and platinum records—is evident in the album’s polished hooks.
The project has already gained momentum, with singles like ‘Cactus’ and ‘Thirsty’ securing heavy rotation on P4 and P5 and a live performance of ‘Bitter‘ danish national television. Ultimately, ‘Cactus’ cements Loud Tiger as an artist who finds her greatest strength—and her best melodies—in the face of adversity.
